Amazing people, good compensation package, poor work-life balance
Project Manager Business Intelligence (Former Employee) –  Genf, GEOctober 23, 2018
What makes the Company stand out - people. People in PG are amazing. This druves a fierce internal competition that naturally forces you to stay current, up to speec in your domain of activity.
For a couple of years, PG is struggling to find its way within the new economical turmoil, the consumer patterns and shopping behaviors. Nlt an easy task under its HUGE business complexity, scale, and diversity. Such scale makes a highly process driven dynosaur, which is not all times agile enough. Always trying to be couple of steps ahead competition, sometimes forgets to focus on basics and puts lots of efforts into shiny blinkers without much effect into such a fast changing environment.
Recently, the political level reached another peak, making any type of performance results disapear behind political curtains.
Pros
Salary, accelerated learning curve, daily complex situstions to solve, amazing people to compete and have fun
Cons
Politics, internal turmoil, non-existing HR, recent lack of real coaches/mentors

Pros

E-IMEA Business Planning Leader (Former Employee) –  GenevaJuly 7, 2018
Overall P&G is a great place to learn and to be disciplined, however after some years it kills you as the pressure never goes out. and unless you choose to stop the stress and reject it you can easily burn out.

Very Professional Corporate Company
Europe Business Planner (Former Employee) –  Geneva, SwitzerlandJanuary 11, 2018
P&G is an established company, with very structured processes. Whatever I have learned, I owe it to P&G, it's a very good school. It gives you responsibility from day one, which is really empowering.
it gives you the opportunity to change your assignment every 2-3 years, which gives you a lot of experience.
However, its culture has started to deteriorate. Although company culture & values are there, the management is not following them, and politics & networking is getting in front of people's performance, which I believe will bring the end of the company one day

Challenging, rewarding, and very international!
Country Manager (Former Employee) –  Genf, GEJanuary 4, 2018
Spent two very intense years at P&G working on two assignments. I travelled, worked hard, and learned a lot! I was lucky enough to be in the Prestige Division, working on brands like Hugo Boss and Gucci.
Pros
Very international and a university for learning marketing and sales!
Cons
Bureaucratic and slow to make decisions.

Overall great company
Global Marketing & Trade marketing Leader (Former Employee) –  Genf, GEDecember 17, 2017
P&G is a great company for future leaders, with strong culture and well organized operations. It's best in class MBA on the job. There're a lot of opportunities to learn and develop and thanks to the strict hiring selection, you almost always work with outstanding people.
Work/life balance though might be tough to find, a job can easily require lots of extra working hours.

Not what it used to be
Manager (Current Employee) –  Genève 1, GEOctober 30, 2017
P&G used to be a great company of choice, but a decade of restructuring have left morale in pieces. The main, if not only, concern of senior management remains to cut cost and increase short-term profit at all cost. Mid and lower management is treated increasingly like an unwelcome expense to be eliminated.
