Head of Technology and Architecture
    Our multinational end client is currently looking for a Head of Technology and Architecture who will join their team on a global business transformation program reporting directly to the CIO.

    This is a permanent role at our client's headquarter. An excellent package is on offer for the good candidate.

    *The program will include a major IS/IT transformation for which SAP and Hybris have been selected as strategic software partners.
    *Provide the appropriate architectural frameworks within which the client can operate and develop IT capability in the business ensuring maximum return on investment and consistency with business strategic direction.
    *Ensure IT risks are minimized and to ensure data is appropriately structured, controlled and utilized within the business.

    *Ensure that the client has appropriate architecture roadmaps in place across applications, data and infrastructure to enable a managed transition from its current IT landscape to the new transformation landscape.
    *Ensure appropriate governance exists to implement the roadmaps and associated standards through projects and programmes.
    *Ensure the architectural decision making process is pragmatic and focused on supporting business strategy.

    Business Intelligence
    Accountable for delivery of the Business Intelligence roadmap ensuring consistency of data, a layered BI delivery model covering pre-defined reports, user driven reporting and ad-hoc data analysis and appropriate management of ongoing information requests which makes full use of existing assets.

    IT Security
    Accountable for the provision of effective IT security including the standards to be applied, identification of threats and recommendation of mitigating actions and investigation of incidents as required.

    Stakeholder Management
    Support effective working relationships among IS/IT leadership team and with key stakeholders in the business.

    People Development
    Be accountable for appropriate, effective team structures, size, phasing, skill sets, developing a high performing team, managing timely recruitment, succession plans, performance management, personal development & training

    *Leadership experience (12+ years), having successfully delivered on above KPIs
    *Enterprise Architecture experience in a Retail Organisation
    *Experience of managing IT security in a Retail environment (including PCI compliance)
    *Demonstrably pragmatic approach
    *Led Matrix organization, multi-disciplinary teams
    *Stakeholder Management at senior levels
    *Strong influencing and negotiation skills
    *Excellent oral and written communication in English
    *Strong decision making and analysis skills
