Head High Voltage Technology GIS

Purpose of the Job:
Lead of the certified high voltage testing laboratory and the temperature rise testing area

Management of the team (6 people) the available ressources and the test planning

Check of test reports, organisation of management reviews and performance checks in the laboratory, scope extensions, release and updates of management system documents, internal and external audits

Renewals and extension in the laboratory: specification, planning, testing and supervision of new equipment and updates

Consulting and training of internal partners and external customers in terms of high voltage technology incl. University relations

Nice to have: Technical lead of the following subjects: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), overvoltage studies, surge arrester design, earthing, UHF measurements

Educational Requirements:
University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar experience

(Bachelor, Masters or doctoral degree)

Technical Knowledge / Experience:
Electrical Engineering

Gas Insulated Substations

Leadership & Management

Experience in the subjects of EMC, earthing, Overvoltage Studies, Surge Arrester, UHF (are a plus)


German & English fluent

French is a plus
